Creating a bridge between the wonderland of picture books and the challenging reads ahead in the adult world of literature, chapter books begin to captivate young readers and allow them to exercise their imagination in following a story and creating a new world in their own minds.  Whether read aloud bit by bit as a bedtime story, or devoured whole on a rainy weekend, chapter books are a childhood treasure.  Our slowly growing collection of these are ones we have been captivated by ourselves.
